The Program
Marko Polo Camps
Marko Polo Camps provide players of ages 13 and up (12 and under welcome with a parent/guardian) with an incredible range of stimulating and creative activities. We provide an awesome program for all our campers, no matter their interests or level of experience. With two practices a day, and games with the local teams in the area.
Visiting museums and cultural sites of our hosts, kids will have an educational part about the country they are visiting.
We guarantee that the children will come back with more knowledge about the game and will be ready to play water polo.
Educational Aspect
Players that attend the camp will come home with new knowledge about the history of Serbia, the host town Becej and the surrounding area. Professional coaching staff will help them excel in the game of Water Polo and will be there to answer any of their questions. There will be an option to visit a high school and see differences in schooling systems.
Practice Plan
Our practice plan is based on 5-1 ratio meaning that in 3 days kids will have 5 practices and then an afternoon off, which we will use for longer distance trips.
Closer distance trips would take place between the two practices on the days we have them.
This will allow Campers to have some rest and avoid injuries.
Also, games will be played with local teams.
Trips
During the stay, campers will also get to experience the culture of our host country Serbia.
A visit to a Fantastic castle near Bečej the host town Becej, multiple museums and the ruins of the monastery from the 12th century are just some planned trips we have in store for our campers.
Last but not least, trying local foods at Serbian restaurants.
Water Polo
Water Polo program is the main focus at Marko Polo Camps. With two practices a day our coaching staff and the local coaches will provide you with the best experience and knowledge. Our local coaches are serving as Serbian National team Coaches and are coaching the Division 1a team of Becej.
Also, there will be a surprise guest that we will announce at the meeting on our first day at the hotel.
Club 4 Becej
Home base of the camp
Located in the close proximity of the pools, Club 4 Rooms is an ideal place for our campers to enjoy a safe environment. Rooms ranging from single bed to four beds are a perfect fit for our Camp.
The campers will be in three beds per room or in some cases four beds per room, so we can accommodate all of the campers.
Parents are welcome to follow their camper and will have to let us know what kind of room they would like to have. The hotel has limited space and we want to accommodate everyone, so please let us know as soon as possible.
